Through its various works, Freedom Theater seeks to achieve the following goals:
To provide a place for the children of the Jenin refugee camp to feel equal and safe for young people, to give them enough space to express themselves, to have the courage to experiment, risk and be able to imagine a different reality and challenge cultural and social barriers.
Instructing children to find new ways to overcome problems and to promote self-confidence that will enable them to face the difficulties they face in daily life.
Working to address cultural isolation that limits access to a wider society at the level of Palestine and beyond.
Work on presenting a model of excellence in theater and the arts.
In order to achieve these goals, Freedom Theater employs the following strategies:
Organizing and hosting theatrical performances for young and old alike.
To implement training programs and workshops which in turn support and complement other activities.
Working on opening the camp to other societies by inviting artists from inside and outside Palestine to come and work with children. As well as work on organizing field trips outside the camp and the implementation of the multimedia project, which aims at training on how to make films and the arts of photography, writing and IT skills.
Work to hire qualified staff and volunteers and help them develop their skills through several capacity building initiatives.
Work on the maintenance and development of existing facilities and facilities and at the same time planning to build new facilities.
To develop existing partnerships and attract others, and to continue intensive programs aimed at mobilizing support, support and continuous work to reach outside the camp walls.
Work on designing and applying a plan aimed at fundraising.
