About Us

Islamic Relief is an international non-governmental organization that has worked for over 30 years in more than 40 countries around the world. Seeks to fight poverty, injustice and inequality in a world of nearly three billion people.

The organization works in the field of emergency and emergency relief and the development of poor people. Founded in Birmingham, UK, in 1984 in response to the famine that struck some African countries at the time, its work has grown and continues to provide humanitarian, medical, food, social and educational assistance to poor people and people affected by disasters around the world.

At the international level, Islamic Relief enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. She is a signatory to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct. In 2010, Relief received second place in financial transparency from more than 200,000 British charities.

Islamic relief across the world - Palestine Office

Islamic Relief began operating in the Palestinian territories in 1998 with the aim of reducing the difficult conditions in the Palestinian territories and contributing to sustainable economic and social development. Islamic Relief is operating in Palestine through three basic programs: the Humanitarian Projects Program, the Community Development Program and the Child Care and Education Program.

Islamic Relief has initiated these humanitarian programs to help those in need in Palestine. It is worth mentioning that Islamic Relief operates through a main office in Gaza City and another office in Ramallah.

We also distribute these resources regardless of race, sex, affiliation or belief and without expecting anything in return.
