About Us

The Institute was established by Presidential Decree No. 6 of 2008 issued on 01/03/2008. The Institute is concerned with the construction and development of judicial cadres, prosecutors and administrative staff working in the justice sector. The Institute is headed by a director of no less than an appeal judge. It is managed by a board of directors headed by the Minister of Justice and composed of representatives of the judges, the Attorney General, the Bar Association and faculty members. Universities, and academic affairs. It has a special committee to adopt the curricula of the Institute and other related matters.

The Palestinian Judicial Institute aims to develop performance, develop capacity and prepare judicial and legal cadres in coordination with the Supreme Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice.
