وإذ نقتبس من راديو نوفا Nova "فقد مر عشرون عاما منذ انطلاقها من الشارع وحتى أداء أول مقطوعة لخوان بيز Joan Baez، ومن محطات المترو الباريسية إلى حفلات "ليالي الموسيقيين" بصحبة رودا سكوت Rhoda Scott، ومن فرقتها "جينكوبيلوبا Ginkobiloba " إلى الأداء المنفرد، عشرون عاما من اللقاءات والخبرات التي عززت مسيرتها الموسيقية. فما في جعبتها لا حدود له من خلال نصوص فرنسية وإنجليزية وإسبانية".

ماريان ممثلة وملحنة وعازفة قيثارة وقائدة جوقة. وقد بدأت الموسيقي منذ سن التاسعة ثم بعد 5 أعوام من العزف على البيانو واكتشاف خوان بيز بدأت تعلم العزف على القيثارة. وحينما بلغت 18 عاما، غادرت لتعيش في المكسيك حيث كتبت أول أغانيها. واعتبارا من عام 1992، بدأت في شوارع مدينة موبيلييه Montpellier الفرنسية شق طريقها الموسيقية. كان المارة على مدى 6 أعوام وبمعدل 300 يوم في العام يتوقفون للاستماع لها مأخوذين بأدائها، وكانت أعدادهم في تزايد إلى أن تشكل جمهور من المحبين لها والذين دفعوها إلى إقامة أول حفل موسيقي "حقيقي" لها داخل قاعة في 30/3/1995.

التقت في عام 2009 بخوان بيز في مونبيلييه. وفي عام 2011، سجلت ألبوم"سولو" بمشاركة خوان بيز تحت عنوان مونتريالي هو "ليالي من إفريقيا". في حينها، قدمت المغنيتان 37 حفلا موسيقيا سويةً في أوروبا وفي منطقة سان فرانسيسكو.

في عام 2016، بدأت عروضها على المسارح في فرقة من 6 أعضاء إذ صحبها موسيقيان و 3 مغني جوقة.

Auteur, compositeur, guitariste, chef de chœur, MARIANNE commence la musique à l’âge de 9 ans et après 5 années de piano et la découverte de JOAN BAEZ, elle s’initie à la guitare. A l’âge de 18 ans, elle part vivre un an au Mexique où elle écrit ses premières chansons. A partir de 1992, c’est au cœur des rues de Montpellier qu’elle forge ses premières armes. Durant 6 ans, 300 jours par an, les passants s’arrêtent subjugués et toujours plus nombreux, au point de former un public de fidèles qui plébisciteront son premier « vrai » concert en salle le 30 mars 1995.

En 2009, elle rencontre Joan Baez à Montpellier. En 2011, elle enregistre l’album « Solo » avec la participation de Joan Baez, sous le label montréalais des Nuits d’Afrique. A ce jour, les 2 chanteuses ont donné 37 concerts ensemble en Europe et autour de San Francisco.
En 2016, c’est en sextet qu’elle commence à se produire sur scène, accompagnée par deux musiciens et 3 choristes.
