زارت العاملة النفسية اورسولا هاوزر والطبيبة مايا هس غزة مرارا وتكرارا في الخمسة عشر عاما الاخيرة، لتساندن زميلاتهن العاملات هناك في مجالات علاج الاضطرابات النفسية، الاخذة بالتفاقم بشكل مستمر على اثر الحروب والعزلة التي يعاني منها القطاع.

قد هدأت الاوضاع في غزة بعد مرور عامين على الحرب الاخيرة والتي حصلت في ال2014، ولكن حياة السكان ما زالت في تدهور مستمر. اذ يحتم الحصار على سكان غزة، ما يقارب المليونين نسمة، الحياة في شروط من العزلة التامة عن العالم الخارجي وفي ظروف اكتظاظ سكاني من الاسوأ في العالم. ثلاثة حروب متتالية، مع انعدام اية امكانية للنزوح، لم تترك اثرا اقتصاديا فحسب، بل خلّفت جروحا نفسية عميقة.

بدعم من مديكو انترناشيونال، استطاعت المعالجتين السويسريات من تدريب العاملات النفسيات المحليات في غزة على استعمال السيكودراما، وهي وسيلة علاجية جماعية تساعد في التعامل مع الصدمات النفسية (طراوما) ومعالجتها.

رافقت مخرجة الافلام الوثائقية فرانتشيسكا شافنر هؤلاء النساء الى غزة ووثقّت تعاونهن مع زميلاتهن الفلسطينيات ايناس جودة وانشراح زقوت وهدى ناشف، اللاتي يستخدمن السيكودراما ويطبقنها في عملهن. يتحرّر المشاركون في المجموعة العلاجية من حالة الضحية ليصبحوا وكلاء تغيير، وكل ذلك من خلال اجواء مسرحية آمنة.

"Flowers between Rubble" (Blumen zwischen Trümmern)
(German and Swiss German with Arabic and English subtitles, 52min.) In presence of the filmdirector with following discussion.

The psychoanalyst Ursula Hauser and the medical doctor Maja Hess have been traveling regularly to Gaza for 15 years now. The two Swiss women stand by their colleagues doing therapeutic work, the need for which is permanently increasing: war and isolation create great psychological strain.

Two years after the last war in 2014 things have calmed down in Gaza, but the lives of the inhabitants are deteriorating. Cut off from the outside world, about 1,9 million people live in one of the most densely populated areas in the world, under tight closure. Three wars, without the possibility to flee anywhere, have not only had economic consequences, but also left deep emotional wounds.
With the support of medico international Switzerland, the two Swiss therapists are able to train local women psychologists in psychodrama, a group therapy method that enables the processing of traumata.

The documentary filmmaker Franziska Schaffner accompanied the two Swiss women to Gaza – where nobody is allowed to enter without an Israeli permit – and shows their cooperation with the Palestinian colleagues. By now, the three psychologists Enas Jouda, Ensherah Zaqout, and Huda Nayef themselves apply the psychodrama method. In the protected framework of a theatre play the participants free themselves from the victim status and become active agents of change.
