العتبة هي سلسلة عروض موسيقية في مركز خليل السكاكيني الثقافي من تقديم دينا الشلة، تسعى العتبة إلى تقديم منصة للموسيقيين المحليين ليقدموا أعمالهم غير المنتهية، أو إعادة تقديمها بطريق جديدة، أو عزف أعمالهم الأصلية أو ما هو جديد في موسيقاهم.
في هذه السلسلة الأولى، سنقدم سبعة عروض موسيقية تتراوح بين الجاز والفن السمعي، إلى الموسيقى العربية و الموسيقى الغربية الكلاسيكية.
ستمتد العروض بين 8 نيسان إلى 22 أيار

Gradus is a concert series by Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center curated by Dina Shilleh. It provides a platform for local musicians to present the unfinished, the revisited, the original or the new in their music. In its first edition, this concert series consists of 7 musical performances ranging from sound art, to jazz, to Arabic music and to western classical music. The series will take place between April 8th till May 22nd.

The Mediterranean Sundance Trio was formed in 2017 in Palestine by the greek trumpetist Stelios Chatzikaleas, palestinian multi-instrumentalist Tareq Abboushi and the italian cellist Daniele Spada. The repertory is based on Chatzikaleas' original compositions characterized by pure lyricism, melodic clarity within an internal power of strong interactive improvisations between the band members. Their sound is characterized by Mediterranean ethereal melodies influenced by the temperament of southern Europe’s songs and the modern north European Jazz harmonic innovation, interaction and sound. Blending the jazz, classical and arabic musical background of the members creates a unique musical space in which the listener is eligible for traveling beyond the boundaries of the traditional music genres.
