Job Description

“IT Sales Engineer” typically will do the following:

• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers.


• Managing and interpreting customer requirements.


• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers.


• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.


• Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.


• Helping in the design of custom-made IT solutions.


• Preparing customers quotations, negotiating tender and contract terms.


• Offering after-sales support services.


• Administering client accounts.


• Meeting sales targets.


• Co-ordinating sales projects.


• Help in researching and developing new products
