Senior Accountant - Gaza

St John Eye Hospital Group is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip.  The main Hospital is located in Jerusalem and has centers in Hebron, Anabta and in Gaza. In addition to our extensive range of specialist services we also provide support within the community through our Outreach Teams which travel throughout the West Bank.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to be based in Gaza where he/she will be responsible for the accounting oversight of the Hospital and to work closely with the finance department in Jerusalem to ensure that the financial information for the clinic is complete and accurate according to financial procedures set by the hospital. He/ She will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the accounting and internal control functions, and will be responsible for cost control, financial reporting, third party billings, external audits and overall sound financial management.
