Lena Witkowska & Bashar Murad Concert in Ramallah (Poland & Palestine)


Lena Witkowska - actress and singer from Poland. Studied Culture Sciences, and Academy of Theatre Practice in Gardzienice. Worked with polish alternative theaters and joined to many international art projects. Now she’s manager of author organization RAYS - Reservoir of Art and Spectacle. In addition to leading 3 music projects - Vespa, Cukry and Shams, and leading a workshops - Meet the sound (vocal theatre) and eMotions (stop motion movies).


Bashar Murad is a song-writer, and video artist living in East Jerusalem, producing ALT-POP music in English and Arabic with a Palestinian spirit. With lyrics and ideas that shatter stereotypes and highlight social issues that are seldom addressed in Palestine, Bashar wants to challenge cultural norms in Palestine, and present Palestinians in a light that is rarely seen in the media.

من بولندا الممثلة والمطربة لينا ويتكوسكا، درست الدراسات الثقافية والمسرح،عملت في المسرح البديل في بولندا وعملت في العديد من المشاريع الفنية العالمية،حاليا تعمل مديرة لمؤسسة RAYS - Reservoir of Art and Spectacle بالاضافة الى ذلك فهي تقود ثلاثة مشاريع موسيقية : Vespa,Curky, and Shams .
وتقود ورشات عمل متقدمة في الصوت المسرحي (vocal theatre)ـ
وفي افلام الانيميشن من نوع الستوب موشن.

ستقدم لينا في هذا الحفل مجموعة أغنيات وموسيقى من مشروعها "شمس" يشمل على مقطوعات موسيقية في الجاز،البلوز والقليل من الروك والاغاني بالللغة البولندية . بالاضافة الى اغاني مشتركة مع الفنان الفلسطيني المقدسي بشار مراد قاموا بانتاجها فقط من اجل الحفل .

بشار مراد، مؤلف اغاني،وفنان فيديو ومغنٍ من القدس، يقوم بانتاج موسيقى من نوع ALT-POP بالانجليزية والعربية بروح فلسطينية!
يركز بشار في اغنياته على رفض العنصرية والأحكام المسبقة والاهتمام بالقضايا الاجتماعية التي نادرا مايتم تسليط الضوء عليها في فلسطين.

يود بشار تحدي الصورة النمطية للفلسطيني التي يروج لها الاعلام !

في هذا الحفل سيقوم كل من بشار ولينا بغناء موسيقاه بالاضافة الى تقديم اغنية مشتركة قاما بإنتاجها لتقديمها في هذا الحفل !
