يدعوكم مركز خليل السكاكيني للانضمام لمحاضرة بعنوان "نحو نقد التقييم: ملاحظات حول الغموض والتمرد في الأندركومونز" يقدّمها الباحث بول جودوين، يوم السبت 6.10.2018 الساعة 4:00 عصراً في مركز خليل السكاكيني الثقافي.

تقام محاضرة بول جودوين كجزء من مشاركة الفنانة نور أبو عرفة في معرض "دَيْن" وذلك ضمن فعاليات قلنديا الدولي الرابع.

يبني جودوين وهو قيم معارض مستقل، وباحث ومنظّر حضري،‭ ‬على‭ ‬مشروعه‭ ‬المستمر‭ ‬لتطوير‭ ‬وضع‭ ‬أو‭ ‬موقف‭ ‬أو‭ ‬استراتيجية‭ ‬"استعصائية"‭ ‬ربما‭ ‬يمكن‭ ‬أن‭ ‬تزعج‭ ‬بعض‭ ‬الاستعارات‭ ‬التنظيمية‭ ‬في‭ ‬المتاحف‭ ‬المتداولة‭ ‬في‭ ‬المتحف‭ ‬العالمي‭ ‬وفي‭ ‬معارض‭ ‬البينالي. ‬في‭ ‬الوقت‭ ‬الذي‭ ‬تؤثر‭ ‬فيه‭ ‬ضغوط‭ ‬السوق‭ ‬العالمية‭ ‬والقصص‭ ‬السياسية‭ ‬المتطرفة‭ ‬على‭ ‬العديد‭ ‬من‭ ‬المتاحف‭ ‬والمساحات‭ ‬الفنية،‭ ‬يجادل‭ ‬جودوين‭ ‬بأنّ‭ ‬على‭ ‬القيمين‭ ‬على‭ ‬المهنة‭ ‬أن‭ ‬يصقلوا‭ ‬ويثبطوا‭ ‬المواقف‭ ‬والاستراتيجيات‭ ‬والتكتيكات‭ ‬المتمثلة‭ ‬في‭ ‬التمرد:‭ ‬أشكال‭ ‬المقاومة‭ ‬والتأمل‭ ‬الذاتي‭ ‬في‭ ‬مواجهة‭ ‬بعض‭ ‬من‭ ‬القواعد‭ ‬المهيمنة‭ ‬في‭ ‬الذوق‭ ‬والسلطة. ‬سيعتمد‭ ‬هذا‭ ‬الحديث‭ ‬على‭ ‬مفهوم‭ ‬فريد‭ ‬موتين‭ ‬وستيفانو‭ ‬هارني‭ ‬حول‭ ‬"الأندركومونز"‭ ‬والأفكار‭ ‬حول‭ ‬الغموض‭ ‬والانسحاب‭ ‬لاقتراح‭ ‬طرق‭ ‬للنجاة‭ ‬في‭ ‬السلطة‭ ‬الأبوية‭ ‬والرأسمالية‭ ‬البيضاء‭ ‬في‭ ‬"الأندركومونز"‭ ‬في‭ ‬عالم‭ ‬الفن‭.‬

معرض "دَيْن" من إنتاج مركز خليل السكاكيني الثقافي كجزء من قلنديا الدولي 2018 تحت ثيمة التضامن. المعرض بدعم من مؤسسة عبد المحسن القطان عبر منحة مشروع "الفنون البصرية: نماء واستدامة" المُموّل من السّويد.

Khalil Sakakini Center invites you to attend the Keynote lecture with Paul Goodwin: "Towards a Critique of Curatoriality: Notes on Opacity and Recalcitrance in the". Saturday 6.10.2018 at 4:00 pm at Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center.

Paul Gadwin's lecture is part of Noor Abu Arafeh's participation in "Debt" exhibition, as part of Qalandiya International IV.

About Paul Gadwin:
Goodwin is an independent curator, urban theorist, and researcher based in London. His curatorial, research and writing projects extend across the interdisciplinary fields of contemporary art and urbanism with a particular focus on African diaspora artists and visual cultures.

About the lecture:
Goodwin is an independent curator, urban theorist, and researcher based in London. He builds his talk on his ongoing project of developing a ‘recalcitrant’ posture, attitude or strategy that can perhaps troublesome of the dominant curatorial tropes circulating in the global museum and biennials. In a time when global market pressures and extreme political narratives are aggressively impacting on many museums and art spaces, he argues that curators need to cultivate and inhabit postures, strategies, and tactics of recalcitrance: forms of resistance and self-reflection in the face of some of the dominant norms of taste and power. This talk will draw on Fred Moten and Stefano Harney's concept of the 'undercommons' and ideas of opacity and withdrawal to suggest ways to survive white, capitalist patriarchy in the 'undercommons' of the art world.
