يدعوكم مركز خليل السكاكيني الثقافي لمحاضرة موسيقية عن الموسيقار الروسي ديميتري شوستاكوڤيتش بعنوان "بيتهوفن في القرن العشرين" يقدمها الباحث الموسيقي ماريو موريس. حيث ستدير الموسيقية دينا الشلة المحاضرة. وذلك يوم الأحد 12/8/2018 على الساعة 7 مساء.

المحاضرة باللغة الانجليزية. وسيتم الاستماع إلى مجموعة من الأعمال الموسيقية خلال المحاضرة

عن المحاضرة:
ديميتري شوستاكوڤيتش كان واحدا من الملحنين الرئيسيين في القرن العشرين. إن حياته وعمله هما مرآة لتاريخ القرن الماضي (ليس فقط في الاتحاد السوفياتي) بين العشرينات والسبعينيات منه. شخصيته الإنسانية والثقافية المعقدة تظل مثيرة للاهتمام، حيث كان عليها أن تمر بسلسلة من الأحداث الكبيرة والكارثية مثل الثورة الروسية، والحرب الأهلية، وقمع ستالين، والحرب العالمية الثانية، وفترة الانفتاح "الثاو" وعصر الركود. هو لم يتمكن من الحفاظ على سلامة أخلاقية وفكرية مذهلة فحسب، بل استطاع أيضًا أن يخلق ما هو على الأرجح أغنى وأهم مجموعة من الأعمال الموسيقية في القرن بأكمله. هذا هو السبب في أنه أطلق عليه اسم "بيتهوفن في القرن العشرين".

عن المحاضر:
ولد ماريو موريس في إيطاليا عام 1965. درس التاريخ وخاصة تاريخ أوروبا الشرقية المعاصر. مترجم لشعراء مثل ألكسندر بلوك وآنا أشتموفا، يعمل منذ 25 عامًا في صناعة الموسيقى الكلاسيكية، ويغطي جميع أنواع الأدوار تقريبًا: من مدير المستودع إلى مدير الماركات، إلى مدير التصدير إلى مدير الفنانين والمراجع الفنية، إلى مستشار للمدراء الفنيين لماركات الموسيقى الكلاسيكية، وما إلى ذلك.

Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center invites you to attend the musical lecture “the Beethoven of the XXth Century” on the works of the composer Dmitrij Shostakovich. The lecture will be given by Mario Morese who will be presented by musician Dina Shilleh. The lecture will take place on Sunday 12/8/2018 at 7pm.

The lecture is in English language, and we will be listening to some musical works.

about the lecture:
Dmitrij Shostakovich has been one of XXth Century major composers. His life and work are a mirror of the history of last century (not only in Soviet Union) between the Twenties and the Seventies. His complex human and cultural personality keeps on intriguing as it had to go through a series of cataclysmic events like Russian revolution, Civil War, Stalin repressions, World War II, the so-called Thaw and the Stagnation era. He not only kept on maintaining an astonishing moral and intellectual integrity, but was also able to create what is probably the most precious corpus of musical works of the entire Century. This is why he has been called “the Beethoven of the XXth Century”.

about the lecturer:
Mario Morese was born in Italy in 1965. He studied History and in particular contemporary Eastern Europe history. Translator of poets like Alexander Blok and Anna Achmatova, he has been working for 25 years in the classical music industry, covering almost all kinds of roles: from warehouse manager to label manager, to export manager to Artists & Repertoire manager to consultant to classical labels’ artistic directors, etc.
