أشجار الخروب و الزعرور تنمو بشكل طبيعي وبري على جبالنا. هذا الشهر سنقوم بحصد ثمار الزعرور و الخروب المليئتين بالفيتامينات و الفوائد الأخرى.

يستعمل الخروب تقليدياً لعمل مشروب حلو الطعم. يمكن طحنه أيضاً و استعماله كمحلي للحلويات او حتى عمل مشروب ساخن يشبه القهوة!

انضموا إلينا في تاريخ ١٣ تشرين الأول من الساعة العاشرة صباحاً حتى الساعة الثانية ظهراً.

الساعة ١٠.٠٠ اللقاء على الشارع الرئيسي قبل قرية عين كينيا من ثم سنقوم بالتوجه نحو المشجر مشياً على الاقدام لمدة ١٥ دقيقة
الساعة ١٠:٣٠ الوصول الى المشجر والافطار فطور تقليدي مع كأس من الشاي للمعنين الرجاء اعلامنا مسبقاً حتى نتمكن من توفير الخبز الطازج
الساعة ١١.٠٠ سنبدأ فعالية القطف حتى الساعة ١٤.٠٠

تأكدوا من لبس ملابس و أحذية مناسبة للمشي، و احضروا ماء للشرب.

Carob and Hawthorn are both delicious fruits from wild trees we have up at Mashjar Juthour. We'll be harvesting them and we want YOU to join us for this lovely experience. We will be providing a traditional breakfast for 20 nis and will give you an introduction to our work at Mashjar Juthour with a small tour.

Carob is traditionally used to make a sweet drink from. It can also be ground up and used to sweeten cakes and cookies or even to make a hot, coffee-like drink!

Hawthorn grows wild on our mountains and the fruits are delicious, packed with vitamin C. Traditionally we made molasses and jam from it.

-10.00 Am we wil meet at the main road 1 Km before the village of Ein Keniaa. We will hike up to Juthour (around 15 - 20 mins.)
- 10.30 arriving at Juthour, resting while having a traditional breakfast and a cup of tea for 20 shekels (please let us know in advance if you want to have breakfast with us)
- 11.00 Am we will start our activity by picking the Carob and Hawthorn

Make sure you wear comfortable clothes, and shoes suitable for hiking and bring enough water.
