يدعوكم مركز خليل السكاكيني لحضور امسية موسيقية بعنوان "ثنائي بيانو" تقدمها دينا الشلة وهانا غالاهر يوم السبت الموافق 18.8.2018 الساعة 7:00 مساءً، في مركز خليلي السكاكيني الثقافي.

عن العازفين:
يتألف الثنائي من عازفة البيانو الصربية والفلسطينية دينا الشلة وعازفة البيانو الأيرلندية هانا غالاهر. بدأ تعاونهم في معهد إدوارد سعيد الوطني للموسيقى في فلسطين، حيث كانا يدرسان. وقد عزفا معاً في المهرجانات والحفلات الموسيقية في فلسطين وإيرلندا. تم عرضهما كثنائي في آلبوم دينا الشلة ذو المؤلفات الأصلية. كلا عازفي البيانو يستمتعان بمشاركة الجهاز واكتشاف الذخيرة المعاصرة.

عن الملحنة:
تحمل دينا الشلة درجة البكالوريوس ودرجة الماجستير في أداء البيانو من جامعة لورانس وجامعة ماساتشوستس أمهرست. في يونيو 2015، حصلت على "جائزة الفنان الشاب" عن تأليفها "بقايا" من مسابقة "فلسطين في الداخل والخارج". وفي نفس العام، أكملت إقامة في Cite Internationale des Arts، بمنحة من مؤسسة عبد المحسن القطان. ظهرت في "رسائل إلى فلسطين"، وهي مجموعة من موسيقى البيانو الفلسطينية التي أنتجها سامر جرادات، كمؤلف وعازف بيانو ومخرج فني. في أبريل 2016، شاركت في مؤتمر "موسيقيي الحداثة والتراث" في القاهرة الذي نظمته جمعية الموسيقى المصرية الأوروبية المعاصرة. في أغسطس 2017، أصدرت وأنتجت ألبومًا من مؤلفاتها، تم عرضها في فلسطين وفرنسا وبلجيكا وإيطاليا. وهي حالياً رئيسة قسم البيانو في معهد ادوارد سعيد الوطني للموسيقى.

Khalil Sakakini Center invites you to attend a musical concert entitled "Biannual Piano" by Dina Al-Shala and Hana Galahir on Saturday, 18.8.2018 at 7:00 pm at Khalili Sakakini Cultural Center.

About the Performers:
The duo is comprised of Serbian-Palestinian pianist Dina Shilleh and Irish pianist Hannah Gallagher. Their collaboration began at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine, where they were both teaching. They have performed together in festivals and concerts across Palestine and Ireland. They are featured as a duo on Shilleh’s album of original compositions, Sudfa. Both pianists enjoy sharing the instrument and exploring contemporary repertoire.

About the Composer:
Dina Shilleh holds a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in piano performance from Lawrence University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In June 2015, she was awarded the “Young Artist Award” for her composition Baqaya by the Palestine In and Out competition. In the same year, she completed a residency at Cite Internationale des Arts, awarded to her by A.M.Qattan Foundation. She is featured on Letters to Palestine, a collection of Palestinian piano music produced by Samer Jaradat, as a composer, pianist and also the artistic director. In April 2016, she participated in a composer conference Modernity and Heritage in Cairo organized by the European Egyptian Contemporary Music Society. In August 2017 she released and produced Sudfa, an album of her compositions. Her compositions have been performed in Palestine, France, Belgium, and Italy. She is currently Head of the Piano Department in the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine.
