INJAZ Palestine is a member nation of the global organization Junior Achievement Worldwide, the world’s largest organization dedicated to engaging youth in the world's economy. This organization was established in 1919, in which over ten million students participate in over 126 countries annually.
In 2005, INJAZ Palestine was officially registered as a non-profit organization with legal status granted by PA authorities with demonstrated capacity to comply with all applicable administrative legal requirements and fiscal regulations, in accordance to Palestinian NGOs' Laws. INJAZ governing body consists of a General Assembly that elects a board of directors every two years, and the General Assembly members represent top local and multinational companies and organizations in Palestine.
During ten years of operations in eight governorates including Ramallah, Nablus, Qalqilia, Tulkarem, Hebron, Jenin, Salfit, and Gaza Strip; INJAZ Palestine has utilized the resources of more than 5000 volunteers from more than 500 Palestinian private sector companies, to affect the lives and future of more than 150,000 youth in schools, universities and youth centers.
Through its partnership with both educational and private sectors, INJAZ Palestine utilizes the educational system and the experiences of the private sector volunteers to expose students to entirely new concepts in order to inspire a culture of entrepreneurship and business innovation among Palestinian youth.
