Applications for the Lab in Gaza are in and they look amazing! Time for all innovators in the Westbank to get ready and apply for the Falling Walls Lab at Birzeit University!

Two winners from Palestine will travel to Berlin for the Falling Walls Lab final in Berlin this year and compete for the title of Young Innovator of the year!

You've got a research project, business plan, entrepreneurial or social initiative worth sharing?

Excellent researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals can as of now apply for Ramallah's first Falling Walls Lab: Present your innovative idea in a 3 minutes nutshell to a distinguished jury from academia and business and qualify as the winner for the international Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin on 8 November. Showcase your innovative work once more in front of a high-calibre jury and an interdisciplinary audience and get a ticket to the internationally renowned Falling Walls Conference, taking place on 9 November.

Travel, accommodation and visa costs will be covered for the winner.

Bachelor and Master students, PhD candidates, postdocs, junior professors and entrepreneurs are invited to apply.

The Falling Walls Lab Ramallah takes place at Birzeit University in the Said Khoury Building For Development Studies on 15 June at 11:00 am. The event is open to the public.

The Falling Walls Lab Ramallah is organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in cooperation with Birzeit University, the Higher Council of Innovation and Excellence and is supported by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. It is a project of the Falling Walls Foundation.
