RECONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT
Due to the past political and economical history, the territories reconstruction and development will have to start from almost scratch. Significant opportunities and improvements in public infra structure, private industry, health, housing, water, agricultural projects and services are needed, not only to improve living conditions directly, but also to avoid environmental degradation. Opportunities are attractive to investors and investment in these projects will trigger the start of the Palestinian economy’s development.
With its mountains and green valleys, The West Bank and Gaza regions stretch from Bisan planes near the lake of Tiberius in the north to the Egyptian borders on the northern side of the Sinai facing the beautiful shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The region, truly described as the cradle of civilization, is rich in archeological associations. Inhibited since the beginning of history, It is here that some of the oldest cities and towns of the world were built. Palestine does not only embrace the remains and ruins of generations and civilizations but also embraces the holiest shrines and sites of three religions.
Down through the ages, Palestine has been on the cross roads of trade between Africa, Europe and the Far East ... and now, regaining its identity and recognition, it is on the crossroads to modernization and rapid development in a region destined to peace and prosperity.
